Facilities

• Pool and BBQ:

  Shared rooftop pool and Gas BBQ area can be found on the second floor of the apartment block.

  Please leave the area and shared facilities as you would like them found.

• TV :

  The TV has Netflix:

• Washing Machine :

  Located in the cupboard outside the downstairs bathroom

  Please leave cupboard doors open when washing and or drying  (doors slide back into cupboard).

  5kg limit per load.

  Courtesy washing capsules are provided, should you require more, these can be purchased at Clicks, Checkers or Woolworths.

• Dishwasher :

  Courtesy dishwashing tablets are provided, should you require more, these can be purchased at Clicks, Checkers or Woolworths.

• Nespresso :

  Courtesy Nespresso pods are provided, should you require more, these can be purchased at Clicks, Checkers or Woolworths.

• Pots & Pans :

  Can be found in the blue cabinet in the dining room.

• Air conditioners :

  Please switch these devices off when doors or windows are open or when there isn’t anyone in the apartment.

• Hot Water : (as per Check in instructions)

  Check to confirm the hot water system is on to ensure it hasn’t switched to holiday mode.

  Locate the hot water control panel - upstairs bathroom in cupboard next to the toilet.

  If the display is fully lit - time & hot water droplets etc - no further action is required.

  If only the time is displayed - press the RED & BLUE buttons simultaneously.

  The unit will switch on displaying RED DROPLETS in the bottom right of the display.

  The water will heat up within 30 min - no further action required.

• Garbage :

  Please take full garbage bags to the apartment block’s waste area – this is located to the left of the garage door when facing the road. Open the white louvre door.

• House Rules :

  No smoking inside the apartment please.

  Please respect our neighbours by keeping the noise to a minimum, especially after 22:00.

  Only registered guests are allowed on the property overnight.

  Please leave the Whale Walk Apartment as you found it.

• Departure Checklist:

  Checkout is by 10H00

  Ensure all windows and doors are locked.

  Switch off lights and appliances.

  Switch all air conditioners off.

  Dispose of any garbage in the allocated area in the garage.

  You will receive instructions as to where to leave the key via WhatsApp.
